This service is essential for determining the effectiveness of cleaning agents. It detects the presence of ATP (the energy molecule found in all living things) which indicates whether there are bacteria left over after cleaning. Verifying the presence of bacteria is important in creating a truly clean environment. This can help eliminate bacteria, allergens, food-born illnesses, and viral infections. We use a device called a luminometer to detect the presence of bacteria on surfaces. If a surface is contaminated, our system will detect the ATP within the bacteria. When ATP comes in contact with the liquid-stable reagent in our testing device, light is emitted proportional to the number of bacteria present on the surface. The more contaminated the surface, the more light is detected by the luminometer.
